We sold greeting cards, calendars, cheese, and scented candles. Our school raised more money last year than selling chocolate bars in the past!
Instead of Halloween candy, one parent made a vegetable skeleton with a brain dip. The students loved it, and not one vegetable was left over for any goblins to get!
Our Student Nutrition Program coordinator served a lentil salad (made with salsa, lentils, peppers and onions) and the kids liked it so much, a bunch of parents called asking for the recipe!
